Supports Retail Operations Team in assisting in the design, build-out and set-up of at least 4-5 new pop-up stores across the country. This position is a remote position and will be on a contract basis minimally being 1-2 weeks a month for the first half of 2018.
Essential Job Functions:
Works with Retail Operations team to assist in the execution of the store opening process.
Integral part in design and physical build of the store including but not limited to fixtures, racks, shelving, painting, minor electrical, and general construction problem solving.
Assists in getting together all the necessary permits and certificates needed to get the store operational.
Works with Retail team to determine punch list items and ensure timely completion.
Assists in New Store purchasing and tracking.
Helps maintain and issues weekly store build plan and calendars.
Conduct miscellaneous administrative tasks.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
Must be able to travel for 1-2 weeks a month including weekends.
Woodworking and building background even if as a hobby is a MUST.
Resourcefulness is the name of the game. We do more with less.
Ability and experience to operate and safely use tools.
Ability to quickly and effectively problem solve issues that arise.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to flex into short notice builds and designs.
Ability to work weekends.
Accuracy and attention to detail is incredibly important.
Effective communication skills.
Self-motivated. Able to accomplish projects without hand-holding.
Ability to effectively work with a team.
Knowledge about the Chubbies brand is imperative and a love for the Chubbies brand is preferred.
